Summary
Gravity Well does not ask for an account and does not sell your data. Your game progress stays on your device. Starting with version 1.1 the game shows ads through Google AdMob, which uses some device data to serve and measure ads, as described below.
Data stored on your device
Your scores, daily streak, unlocked planets and settings (sound, vibration, language) are saved only in the app's private storage on your device. This data never leaves your device through the app. It may be included in your device's own Android backup if you have backup enabled; that backup is handled by Google according to your device settings. Uninstalling the app deletes this data.
Permissions
The app uses internet access (only to load ads), the advertising ID permission (used by Google AdMob) and the vibration permission for optional haptic feedback, which you can turn off in the game's menu. It does not access your location, contacts, camera, microphone or files.
Advertising (Google AdMob)
From version 1.1 the game shows full-screen ads between rounds and optional rewarded ads that you choose to watch. Ads are provided by Google AdMob. To show, personalize (where allowed) and measure ads and to prevent fraud, Google may collect and process your device's advertising ID, IP address, device and app information, and your interactions with ads. In the EEA, the UK and Switzerland you are asked for consent through Google's consent form, and you can change your choice any time with "Privacy options" in the game's menu. You can also reset or delete your advertising ID in your Android settings. Learn how Google uses this data: policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.
The game contains no analytics or tracking SDKs other than Google AdMob.
iPhone (App Store) version
The iPhone version of Gravity Well currently shows no ads and contains no advertising, analytics or tracking SDKs. It does not use the internet, does not access the advertising identifier and does not track you. Your game data is stored only on your iPhone (and may be included in your own iCloud or device backup); uninstalling the app deletes it. The advertising section above applies to the Android version only. If ads are added to the iPhone version later, this policy will be updated first.
Children
The game is intended for a general audience aged 13 and over. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children.
